Canadian Wilds Redevelopment focused on adding polar bears, relocating whooping crane, and improving caribou and river otter habitats. Utilizing the Integrated Project Delivery method, the design evolved with heavy survey team involvement. The 3 concrete polar bear viewing structures featured multi-level, uniquely shaped structures with 30’ long custom glass. The installation of the storm drainage system and mechanical piping avoided the vast network of existing underground utilities.
